This concept, which I entitle: "Snake Charmer Theory" has only a few elements which I am capable of expressing, but hopefully allows for others (infinitely more capable than myself), to ponder.
Element #1:
At some level within what we call "matter", the "blueprint" or "map" for all possible life forms is pre-embedded and already exists, though remains unmanifested, merely awaiting the appropriate conditions to manifest. All matter contains the "blueprint" for all life.
(One area to which we may look in relation to this idea is "holograms" whereby from what I understand, each fragment actually in some way or other is able to express the whole).
Element #2:
Just as we have: "The Periodic Table of Elements"; I believe ultimately their exists a "Periodic Table of Biology".
Every life form we see here on Earth (plus infinitely more which we do not know of existing elsewhere), most likely exists in the same visually identifiable form somewhere else on some other planet. (The DNA may or may not link up perfectly, who knows, but in other words: "yes -- it is undeniably an elephant"). I have heard it stated that the universe contains more planets than grains of sand upon the Earth, therefore it seems somewhat improbable to me that each life form on Earth is unique to Earth itself.
Element #3:
Evidence or endorsement of both Elements' #'s 1 & 2 could be produced (and I might even speculate will be produced), if and when some fossilized or other remains of identical life forms are identified on Mars, as those which previously existed or currently exists on Earth (i.e. a fossilized Trilobite, or perhaps some known bacteria or algae). In my opinion, this concept doesn't seem so very radical, since we know as an absolute fact (through spectroanalysis etc.) that the same elements that compose the Earth compose the entire universe.
Element #4:
If any of the above is ever shown to hold any degree of truth (in other words, if we find that fossilized Trilobite on Mars), it completely shakes up the concept of Darwinian Evolution.
Element #5:
Matter, is not really matter; but merely separate sections or crystallizations of vibration (String Theory).
Element #6:
Everything, the Universe, exists on one vibrating, connected, and encircling "band". (Basically extending the electromagnetic spectrum to encompass everything, including life forms.
(The electromagnetic spectrum is currently thought of in terms of various frequencies of energy ,i.e. one bandwidth expresses ultra-violet light, another visible light, infrared, electricity, magnetism etc. etc., why not extend to life forms)?
Element #7:
Vibration is music, everything is vibration (String Theory again), therefore everything, in a very true sense, is actually music.
Element #8:

The "appropriate conditions" would be the proper "habitat" for a particular group of life forms, plus the necessary amount of time for the "Darwinian Mechanism" to unfold itself.
Life forms are therefore "summoned" to manifest themselves (each in their turn), according to their "embedded blueprint" -- arising much like the falling of dominoes, yet of ever increasing complexity. As the vibrations of various combinations of "matter" within an environment resonate, they actually create a "chord" from which a life form may be precipitated or crystallized (much like the crystallizations precipitated in a chemical reaction when the solution is vibrated / stirred).
Most anyone who has spent enough time in certain natural habitats has sensed, or could very nearly "hear" the underlying "music" or "chord" of that habit. This habitat produces a "chord," this "chord" summons forth life form manifestations, each form contributing more "notes", hence altering the "chord", thus ever increasing the complexity of the "chord", hence summoning forth more pre-embedded life manifestations or crystallizations.
Throughout history, philosophers, various religions, people who meditate, etc., have referred to a "Universal Music." I believe the above concept is a very crude understanding of what it is, and what it does.
